Life of Ryan will give viewers a look at how Sheckler balances his job as a professional skateboarder constantly traveling the globe with also trying to be a normal teenager.

However Sheckler might find shredding half pipes, grinding rails, and dealing with adoring female fans easier than what he's faced with at home.  His parents recently finalized their divorce, so Sheckler's serving as the man of the house for his two younger brothers, Shane and Kane.  He's also busy trying to keep in touch with his childhood friends Tony, Casey and Taylor while frequently living on the road.

Sheckler represents the newest professional skateboarder to have his own show on MTV, joining Bam Margera with Viva La Bam and Bam's Unholy Union as well as Rob Dyrdek with Rob and Big.

Jason Carbone serves as executive producer for Life of Ryan, with Sarah Kane serving as the co-executive producer. Michael Powers and Lauren Dolgen are the MTV executives overseeing the project.
