MTV has announced it's canceled former American Idol judge Randy Jackson's long-running reality dance competition series, Entertainment Weeklyreported.
"We are grateful to Randy Jackson and Warner Horizon for having brought our audience seven amazing seasons of dance with ABDC, and look forward to more successful and dynamic entertaining collaborations in the future," the network said in a statement, according to EW.
America's Best Dance Crew premiered on MTV in February 2008. Its seventh season aired on MTV this past spring and concluded in June.
Jackson will be returning to American Idol's twelfth season, which premieres on January 16 on Fox, as a judge alongside new judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban.
