Melanie "Mel B" Brown has broken her silence about rumors her husband physically abused her.

The 39-year-old America's Got Talent judge defended her husband Stephen Belafonte on Instagram Sunday.

"This is for my fans havin problems with my Twitter will be back soon! I'm very good was very polly but much better now and for the record my hubby never would lay a hand on me sorry took so long but any response fuels rumors #lovemyfamily #lovemyfans," Brown captioned a photo with Belafonte.

About a week ago, Brown had reportedly been admitted to the hospital with a mysterious illness a source claimed to be severe stomach pains. She therefore missed a taping of The X Factor U.K.

Shortly afterwards, the former Spice Girls member appeared on The X Factor U.K.'s live finale with a questionable swollen cheek and obvious scratches on her arms. Social media then whipped up a storm alleging Belafonte must've hit her, especially since she ironically wasn't wearing her wedding ring during the show, the Daily Mail reported.

Brown posted another Instagram photo on Christmas Day featuring Belafonte and their little girls all smiling ear to ear.

"Have a merry Christmas! #familytime #funday," she wrote.

Belafonte, who's been married to the singer for seven years, had previously denied accusations he beat his wife.

"I don't usually respond to Twitter msgs but I will respond to comments of hitting my wife which I think are quite disgusting un true!" Belafonte tweeted December 15. "Mel was very ill. A bunch of doctors helped her get better. If fans can't just relax B4 being negative they r not real fans of @OfficialMelB."
