Could Nick Cannon be a cheater? Well, at least estranged wife Mariah Carey is apparently suggesting so.

Carey, a former American Idol judge, might have taken an indirect shot at Cannon when she drastically changed the lyrics to Billie Holiday's song "Don't Explain" while performing it in Tokyo this past weekend, TMZ reported.

The song's original lyrics are, "And I know you cheat / Right or wrong, don't matter."

However, Carey reportedly altered the lyrics in light of her divorce by singing, "I know you cheated, motherf-cker."

Although the incident has caused speculation Cannon, the host of America's Got Talent, wasn't loyal to the diva, a source told Us Weekly that Cannon "has always [been] faithful."

Cannon, 33, reportedly left Carey, 44, after six years of marriage. He confirmed there was "trouble in paradise" in late August during an interview with The Insider, when he also revealed he had been living in a separate house from the singer for several months.

The pair wed in April 2008 and have three-year-old twins together named Monroe and Moroccan, who were born in April 2011.
