The Kendra and former The Girls Next Door star is in talks with producers to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars' upcoming twelfth season that will take place this spring, E! News reported Friday.

Wilkinson would be following in the footsteps of former Girls Next Door co-star Holly Madison who competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2009 and was the third dancer eliminated from the show's eighth season.

Wilkinson reportedly sat down for a meeting with ABC executives to discuss the opportunity, according to a source linked to the show's casting.

"Her personality, combined with her ability to dance, is appealing," the source told E! News.

While Wilkinson is considering the idea, a deal has yet to be signed and her representative has declined to comment, E! News reported.

If the Kendra star does opt to take part in Dancing with the Stars, her decision would seem to indicate a change-of-heart from a 2010 interview in which she had discussed Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin's decision to compete on the tenth season of the ballroom dancing competition last spring.

"Kate is on Dancing with the Stars. I just told my publicist, if I were asked to go on Dancing with the Stars, I don't think I'd do it. I would definitely say no to it, because I am that mom that wants to be there every step. I don't want to spend three months away from my baby. I just couldn't do that," Wilkinson explained during a March appearance on the Today show.

Wilkinson and her husband Hank Baskett -- who met at a Playboy event in 2008 and subsequently got married in June of 2009 at the Playboy Mansion -- welcomed their first child, Hank Baskett IV, in December of 2009.

"It's amazing," Wilkinson said. "I think that my life has come with perfect timing. I was that party Playboy girl, and now I'm a wife and a mother. I'm enjoying every chapter of my life. I have the best husband and the best baby I can ever imagine."
