"Not like spaghetti. But like noodling, fishing, noodling," the country singer and former "American Idol" finalist said at an AOL Build panel discussion in New York Tuesday. "Don't ever do it. It's a horrible experience."

Her husband, Kyle Jacobs, playfully insisted, "No, it's great!"

"It's a lot of fun. All you have to do is go to this kind of creepy river and put your hand in a creepy hole..." he continued.

"And let a fish bite you," Pickler said. "And then you have to pull it out by its mouth."

"You have to yank it out and the fish is like 30 pounds," Jacobs added.

"We conquered fears this season, for sure," Pickler laughed. "Catfish freak me out. They make me uncomfortable. I don't know. They are just weird-looking creatures. I faced my fears this season."

"They make for a good dinner," Jacobs quipped.

"I got some liquid courage and it happened," Pickler confessed.
