The suitor whom Kaitlyn Bristowe sleeps with before her round of fantasy-suite dates on The Bachelorette has been revealed days before the broadcast featuring the incident airs.

Fans have been anticipating the dramatic episode in which Bristowe has sex with a bachelor, cries about being intimate too early in the process and then nervously admits to some of the guys what happened. But the one thing on everyone's mind has been -- which guy did she hook up with?

According to a source close to The Bachelorette, in the June 22 episode, Bristowe has sex with Nick Viall, E! News reported.

"It happened after they spent the day touring in Dublin. During the date, they had a hard time keeping their hands off each other," the source close to the show told E! News. "When it was over, she invited him back up to her hotel room."

Viall had finished as the runner-up on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette and later shockingly revealed on After the Final Rose they had made love. Viall was heavily scrutinized for kissing and telling, as many fans thought it was a disrespectful thing to do to Dorfman.

Although Bristowe was shown saying in the preview clips things went "too far too fast" in her relationship, insiders told the website it wasn't really a spontaneous event for either the Bachelorette or Viall.

"When it happened, they were both in the process of falling in love. It wasn't cheap. It was them taking their relationship to the next level," explained one of the insiders.

Bristowe has conducted interviews in recent weeks to prepare The Bachelorette viewers for what's to come considering she's already been slut-shamed on social media.

Bristowe firmly stands by her decision to have sex, claiming it's a natural part of any romance and we're living in the year 2015. She also argued other Bachelorettes hadn't received backlash simply because they chose not to openly talk about the sex they were probably having.

However, Bristowe confessed the timing of her hookup just "wasn't the best" because she had other relationships developing simultaneously.

"Kaitlyn didn't have any regrets about it. But she did feel bad about the other guys. She realized there are more people involved than just her and Nick... still, she didn't consider it a mistake," added the source close to the show.

The men on the current season of ABC's reality dating series weren't thrilled with Viall's participation, especially Joshua Albers and Shawn Booth, who have been shown repeatedly questioning his intentions.

But Bristowe has made it clear she trusted Viall since she couldn't imagine he'd want to go through the process again due to the fact his first experience on Season 10 was pretty brutal and ended badly for him when Dorfman accepted an engagement from winner Josh Murray.

This E! News report would seem to validate a recent comment made by The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison about Viall.

"[I wonder] if history repeats itself. I think we all have this ability to think, 'Oh that won't happen to me.' And then guess what?" Harrison teased in an interview with TV Guide last week.
