James and his professional partner Sharna Burgess have been through many ups and downs this season, especially when it comes to injury, but they clearly want to win badly.

Dancing with the Stars judge Julianne Hough once told James that he's the best male celebrity dancer the show has ever seen, so his chances of winning are probably great!

James was born on December 5, 1986 in Canada and is a six-year Verizon IndyCar Series race car driver for Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. He has amazing technique, a wild sense of humor and a determination to succeed. Want to learn more about him?

Below is a list of 9 facts Reality TV World has compiled about James Hinchcliffe:

- The 5'9" pro race car driver overcame life-threatening injuries in a crash during practice for the 2015 Indianapolis 500.

- He previously dated Australian model Kirsten Dee for several years.

- James is the self-proclaimed mayor of Hinchtown, a fictional online city. He also made his own campaign video to secure DWTS votes.

- James has collaborated with Indianapolis craft brewery Flat 12 Bierwerks to create Hinchtown Hammerdown, a pilsner beer.

- The racer is partnered with the production company Frost Marks Films out of Toronto.

- James is currently dating Rebecca Dalton, a beautiful blonde Canadian actress. Rebecca recently had a role in Lifetime's The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story TV movie and has been spotted in the DWTS audience on several occasions.

- James has four career Verizon IndyCar Series wins and was the pole sitter for the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 in May.

- The DWTS contestant hosts "The Mayor on Air," a spontaneous, off-the-cuff podcast before each race featuring fellow drivers and series officials as guests.

- James shares a dog named Lou, a super cute cockapoo, with Rebecca. Lou even has her own Instagram account. (Yes, Lou is a girl).
