'Gold Rush' renewed for a fourth season by Discovery Channel

Gold Rush will be rushing back to Discovery Channel.

Discovery Channel is renewing Gold Rush for a fourth season, The Hollywood Reporterreported Friday.
The official announcement will reportedly be made during Gold Rush's third-season finale, which airs as a special live two-hour broadcast at 8PM ET/PT tonight on Discovery.
"There will be a season four of Gold Rush, but we'll announce some additional things we have planned... also maybe some offshoots happening," executive producer Christo Doyle told The Reporter.
The third season of Gold Rush premiered in October.
