"Britney will get the boot," a source told the magazine. "Producers wanted her for the long haul, but it isn't working."
Sources told Us that Spears was less than enthusiastic on The X Factor's second-season judging panel and contributed little to the show's entertainment value, which disappointed producers considering she was signed to an expensive $15 million contract.
"They paid all that for her to say 'amazing' and offer half-claps," a source told the magazine.
