Former Tool Academy cast member Jaimee Grubbs is claiming she had an affair with professional golfer Tiger Woods that included approximately 20 sexual encounters.

"He told me just last month, 'Quietly and secretly we will always be together,'" Grubbs told Britain's The Sun newspaper in a Wednesday report.

"I loved how we got along. But I knew, in the back of my mind, there could never be just us. There would always be the wife, or somebody else."

The 24-year-old appeared on the first season of Tool Academy, a VH1 reality series which attempts to rehabilitate bad boyfriends, earlier this year.  Grubbs appeared on the show with Shawn "Loud Mouth Tool" Southern, who she had allegedly been dating for a couple of months.

However during the show's second episode Grubbs learned that Southern was also in a six-year relationship with Aida, a Hollywood, CA dental hygiene student that he had previously claimed was his "psycho ex-girlfriend."

Southern chose to continue to attempt to work on his relationship with Aida after she traveled to the Tool Academy mansion and surprised Grubbs and the rest of season's remaining couples with the disclosure, resulting in Grubbs -- whom VH1 had billed as a bartender from Studio City, CA -- leaving the show and Aida joining the season's cast.  (Watch a video clip of Grubbs' exit below)

Grubbs alleges she met Woods at Las Vegas club Light in April 2007, and while she claims they ended up in the same MGM hotel suite she added they slept in separate rooms.

"The next day, he ordered me lunch in the room. He changed the TV to golf, and I was like, 'I don't want to watch golf. It's boring.' Then I asked him to get me a pillow. He looked at his friends and went, 'Is this girl serious?' At this point, he knew I didn't care who he was," she told The Sun before recounting their first kiss.

"He was standing by his bed ready to pack. I ran in jumped on him and tackled him. We rolled around and he kissed me. It was nice and gentle. My heart was beating. We laid there and cuddled for 30 minutes."

After their initial meeting in Vegas, Grubbs said they met again a few days later in her hometown of San Diego, which is where they had sex for the first time, according to The Sun.

"He just grabbed me and kissed me and we started taking our clothes off and had sex," she told The Sun. "Afterwards, he was like, 'You should probably go.' He told me that he has a hard time sleeping in the same bed with somebody. He gave me the impression he and his wife had separate rooms."

Weeks later, Woods' wife -- Elin Nordegren -- gave birth to their first son.

Grubbs said Woods never talked about his wife or family, and she never wanted to discuss golf.

"We never talked about golf. Sometimes we'd talk about his stressful life," she told The Sun.

"He told me his life is overwhelming, but he needed the endorsements and busy schedule because he wasn't as financially stable as he wanted to be. I thought, 'F--k him! I'm just an average person... that's a slap in the face.' But he has really high goals for himself."

Grubbs claims the affair continued, as Woods flew to see her in San Diego every few months until a recent knee injury hindered their alleged affair.

"I didn't see him for almost a year because he was injured and rehabilitating at home. But we still talked," she told The Sun. "Finally, on October 18, we met at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. We cuddled, watched Angels And Demons, then had sex. It was very romantic."

While she has strong feeling for Woods, Grubbs said she was afraid he'd end the alleged affair if she revealed them.

"He's what my heart wanted," she told The Sun. "I never said, 'I love you' because I never wanted to scare him off. But I was getting there."

Early last week, Grubbs claims she received a voicemail from Woods in which he asked her to remove her name from her phone number.

"Hey, it's Tiger. I need you to do me a huge favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you. So if you can, please take your name off that?" he asks in the voicemail, according to The Sun.  "Just have it as [just] a number on the voicemail. You got to do this for me. Huge. Quickly. Bye."

Grubbs told The Sun she holds no hard feelings against Woods or his wife.

"Whatever happens with Elin, I hope Tiger and I can reconnect and remain good friends," she said.

Us Weekly -- which also features a cover story with Grubbs about her alleged affair with Woods in this week's issue of the magazine -- subsequently released an audio recording of the purported voicemail message on Wednesday morning.

Early Friday morning -- three days after the alleged voicemail was left -- Woods was involved in a mysterious 2:30AM one-car traffic accident outside of his house in which he hit a fire hydrant and neighbor's tree in his Cadillac SUV.

Woods and his wife were both present at the scene when local police responded to a call from their neighbor and Elin told them she had used a golf club to smash the vehicle's back windows to help Wood exit it following the crash.

Woods was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, which he later described as cuts and bruises, however he subsequently repeatedly refused to meet with officers investigating the incident.  The Florida Highway Patrol ultimately closed the investigation on Tuesday and announced Woods had been issued a careless driving citation and fined $164.

While he still has not revealed the cause of the accident, Woods has dismissed rumors that the couple had been arguing over a recent report that he had been having an affair with New York City club manager Rachel Uchitel, who has also denied the report.

"This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way," Wood said in a Tuesday statement released on his website.  "Although I understand there is curiousity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible."

"The only person responsible for the accident is me.  My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble.  She was the first person to help me.  Any other assertion is absolutely false."

On Wednesday, Wood released an additional statement in which he acknowledged committing unspecified "transgressions" and "personal sins" following the publication of Us Weekly's cover story and release of the audio of the alleged voicemail.

"I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart," he stated.  "I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone."

"Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect."

"But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy. I realize there are some who don't share my view on that. But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one's own family. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn't have to mean public confessions."

"Whatever regrets I have about letting my family down have been shared with and felt by us alone. I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it's difficult. I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology."
