"He's got a tattoo with her name on it," The Hills' star and Torriero pal Lauren "L.C." Conrad told In Touch.
While Torriero may be bummed about the break-up, Scherzinger's music industry friends are apparently glad the performer's fling with a younger man has come to an end. "They feel her new music is more adult, so her personal life should reflect it," one of Scherzinger's friends told In Touch. Torriero appeared as a supporting cast member on the first two seasons of MTV's Laguna Beach docu-reality series, which premiered in September 2004. Following filming for the show's second season, he dropped out of high school and instead got his GED. In November 2005 at the age of 19, Torriero became engaged to then 26-year-old Kimberly Stewart -- Paris Hilton's gal pal and rocker Rod Stewart's daughter -- after dating for only a few weeks. The couple eventually recognized things were moving too fast, as Stewart announced 11 days after the engagement that they had called off plans to wed and were no longer dating. Torriero then reportedly had a brief fling with actress Lindsay Lohan before he was first spotted with Scherzinger at an L.A. nightclub in December 2006. Despite the emotional difficulties he's had since the split with Scherzinger, Torriero has apparently already moved on. He was seen at L.A.'s Hyde on July 12 with actress and singer Hilary Duff, according to In Touch. |
