Discovery has announced it will premiere Naked & Afraid, a new reality series that will feature completely naked couples trying to survive on their own in the wild for three weeks, on Sunday, June 23 at 10:20PM ET/PT.

Naked & Afraid will move to its regular 10PM ET/PT timeslot the following Sunday, June 30.

The new series will take a pair of male and female strangers each week, strip them down naked, leave them stranded in a remote area of the world, and force them to endure extreme weather conditions with no food, water or clothes over the course of 21 days.

Naked & Afraid will feature a different couple each week, who will be allowed one personal item each, and test their survival skills and instincts.

Naked & Afraid is being produced by Renegade 83 with Denise Contis, David Garfinkle, Jay Renfroe, and Steve Rankin serving as executive producers.
