Dancing with the Stars professional Mark Ballas apparently may not be able to perform in Monday night's final eighteenth-season performance show.

Ballas, 27, fell to the floor while rehearsing his freestyle routine with celebrity partner Candace Cameron Bure at the CBS studio where Dancing with the Stars is filmed, People reported.

"Mark was seriously injured during camera blocking," a show representative told People. "His shoulder popped out during a lift and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated and released. It's unclear whether or not he'll be able to perform on Monday's show."

Fellow pro dancers Derek Hough and Cheryl Burke reportedly rushed to Ballas' side on the dance floor after the accident. Although Ballas has been advised not to dance in Monday night's finale for his shoulder's sake, he still desperately wants to perform.

However, according to the magazine, another Dancing with the Stars pro will learn Ballas' choreography just in case Ballas needs to sit out tonight's show.

Ballas had also injured his shoulder during Dancing with the Stars' fifth-season finale back in 2007 when he had been paired with actress Sabrina Bryan. He reportedly dislocated his left shoulder at the time.

Following Monday night's Dancing with the Stars two-hour broadcast at 8PM ET/PT, the season's final episode will air on Tuesday night from 9-11PM ET/PT during which one of the remaining couples will be crowned champions.
