Dancing with the Stars contestant Jodie Sweetin's future on the show could be in jeopardy due to an injury.

The Fuller House star was taken to a hospital after injuring her ankle during a rehearsal with original pro partner Keo Motsepe, E! News reported.

Sweetin returned to her partnership with Motsepe after last week's "Switch-Up" twist, which forced the actress to practice and perform with a random pro selected for her by show fans, Val Chmerkovskiy.

While the "Switch-Up" format usually throws the show's celebrities and pro dancers off, Sweetin and Chmerkovskiy danced a 35-point worthy paso doble and therefore landed in second place on the judges' leaderboard.

It's unclear how Sweetin's injury will affect her Dancing with the Stars participation going forward.

Sweetin is the third DWTS cast member on Season 22 to get hurt. America's Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco received stitches for a cut near his eye, while pro Mark Ballas had to sit out one week due to an old back injury that flared up again.

Ironically, Sweetin's Fuller House co-star Candace Cameron Bure suffered an injury when she competed on Dancing with the Stars' 18th edition. She also hurt her ankle but ended up finishing the competition in third place.
