"Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin's body has been removed from a morgue to the Irwin family's Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland.

While relatives declined the offer of a state funeral for Irwin, they are believed to be planning a private service this weekend, the Australian Broadcasting Corp. reported. World TV star Irwin died Monday after a stingray barb punctured his heart while he was shooting a documentary in Queensland.

Public outpouring of grief at the zoo caused zoo officials to erect temporary fencing around the wall of memorabilia left in tribute to Irwin, the news outlet said.
