CMT announces new 'Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge' reality series

CMT announced the development of Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, a new Dancing with the Stars and Skating with Celebrities-like reality series that will follow eight stars as they try their hand at bull riding.

The six-episode series is scheduled to premiere in August and will be hosted by Murray, a seven-time All-Around World Champion and accomplished rodeo athlete. Celebrity participants for the series -- which will include country music artists -- have yet to be announced.
In addition to Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, CMT announced the development of several new series and specials: CMT Diary, Opening Act, America's Top Cowboy, Prankville, Bandits vs. Smokies, and Born Country; as well as the return of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team for a second season, Trick My Truck for a third season and Country Fried Home Videos for a third season.
