Wrestler Chris Jericho and his professional dance partner Cheryl Burke were booted off of "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday.

"It's actually good timing that I got eliminated because I have to fly over to England for the royal wedding, so it would have affected rehearsal," Jericho joked upon learning his fate.

"But, let's be honest, it wasn't my best dance and, at this point, in the competition you have to be the best every week or this is what happens. But I'd like to say I'm proud of all the dances we did and I'm proud to show that a WWE guy and a rock 'n' roll singer can do this."

Noting he hasn't seen his kids in four weeks, Jericho said, "It's time for Chris Jericho the dancer to step aside and Chris Jericho the daddy to come back."

Still in the running for the coveted mirrorball trophy are Ralph Macchio, Kirstie Alley, Kendra Wilkinson, Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane, Romeo and their professionally trained partners.
