'Celebrity Fit Club' sparks new look for 'Court' judge Mablean Ephriam

The popular syndicated TV show, "Divorce Court" will have several new looks entering into its seventh season this fall.

Thanks to a kick start from VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club," Judge Mablean Ephriam lost 70 pounds during the summer break, the New York Post reported Thursday.
To celebrate the slim fruits of her hard work, she treated herself to Lasik eye surgery, so don't expect to see the judge wearing glasses anymore, either.
The show has also added a new segment in which the estranged spouses get to speak directly into the camera outside of the courtroom where Ephriam is mediating their disputes, the Post said.
A former prison guard, Ephriam became a legal secretary and attended and graduated from law school.
