MTV has announced it has renewed Buckwild, a docu-reality series that follows nine friends from West Virginia proud to be from a small rural town, for a second season.

The first season of Buckwild, which premiered early last month and has been airing as 12 half-hour episodes, chronicles the small circle of friends living life without restrictions as they take on crazy tasks such as transforming a dump truck into a pool party.

The debut season's finale will air on Thursday, February 7 with two back-to-back episodes starting at 10PM ET/PT.

During the first episode of the two final first-season Buckwild episodes, a romance will spark between Katie and Tyler. Katie will ask Tyler to meet her mom but their relationship will take a turn for the worst when Ashley gets involved. Meanwhile, Joey will discover that it means a lot to Shae to drive his truck.

Afterwards, the second episode airing at 10:30PM ET/PT will feature Shain attempting to woo Cara again, whom he's been interested in ever since she moved to town. In addition, the group will take their last trip of the summer to the lake and take on a self-made human slingshot.

Prior to Buckwild's conclusion on February 7, MTV will air interviews with the entire cast of the show beginning at 8PM ET/PT. Then, following the two finale broadcasts, the network will air Bucking Unseen Moments at 11PM ET/PT. In the special, Shain, Joey, Cara, Anna, Tyler, Salwa, and Shae will re-live some of the first season's most memorable and hysterical moments viewers have never seen before.

Buckwild is executive produced by John Stevens and Barry Poznick for Zoo Productions and J.P. Williams for Parallel Entertainment. Lauren Dolgen, Colin Nash and Kristina Edwards serve as executive producers.
