Michaels is "hoping to attend" The Celebrity Apprentice's live finale on May 23, his representative told People on Friday.

"We really hope that Bret is well and able to join us at the finale," The Apprentice star Donald Trump told People.

"I have much respect as he is a fighter and strong competitor."

In addition, People reported that Michaels will also appear on Wednesday's The Oprah Winfrey Show broadcast and will continue his concert tour beginning May 28 at the Hard Rock Biloxi, MI.

The former Rock of Love -- who has diabetes -- suffered the subarachnoid hemorrhage on April 21 while recovering from an emergency appendectomy. Michaels subsequently left the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ on April 30 and doctors have said they "really expect" him to make a "100% recovery."

He continues to have his vital signs and neurological status monitored very closely while also receiving physical therapy twice a day.

Michaels is one of five participants still in the running for The Celebrity Apprentice third-season title.
