Big Brother featured the Final 3 houseguests kicking off the last Head of Household competition of Season 18 during Friday night's special broadcast on CBS.

The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 92 with Nicole Franzel, a 23-year-old ER nurse from Ubly, MI; James Huling, a 32-year-old staff recruiter from Wichita Falls, TX; and Paul Abrahamian, a 23-year-old clothing designer from Tarzana, CA, making their Final 2 plans.

Paul made a Final 2 deal with both Nicole and James so if either person won the HoH competition, he'd end up going to the Final 2 no matter what. Paul had no problem betraying either person if he won the HoH competition because he said both players had backstabbed him over and over again in this game.

Paul didn't feel loyalty to anyone, but James intended to honor that Final 2 deal with Paul. Nicole, on the other hand, wasn't sure if it was in her best interest to take Paul with her to the end if she had the chance to choose.

The three remaining houseguests then gathered for Part 1 of the final three-part Head of Household competition.

Big Brother host Julie Chen explained that the person to finish Part 1 in first place would automatically advance to Part 3.

Dubbed "Hang In There Kitty," the initial challenge required Nicole, Paul and James to chase around a red laser in the backyard, directing them to one of three destinations -- a scratching post, a window ledge or a couch.

The houseguests had to follow the laser closely, and once it stopped, they had 15 seconds to climb up onto an endurance game and get settled in a designated position before the laser turned off.

Nicole, Paul and James then had to remain in that uncomfortable position until the laser turned back on and moved them to another station. If a player fell before the laser turned back on, he or she would be out of the challenge.

The last person standing would be able to skip Part 2 of the HoH competition. It didn't take long for the houseguests to realize this challenge was not going to be fun or easy.

James, a veteran houseguest, felt good about his chances both Nicole and Paul would take him to the Final 2. Nicole, being a returnee and Super Fan of the game, was thrilled to play in the final competition, however, she wouldn't be happy until she's sitting in the Final 2.

The Season 18 finale of Big Brother will air Wednesday, September 21 at 9:30PM ET/PT on CBS, immediately after the 90-minute premiere of Survivor's 33rd edition called Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.

Big Brother's winner will receive $500,000. The houseguest to finish in second place will earn $50,000, and finally, the person whom America votes as their favorite player of the season will walk away with $25,000.
