Big Brother evicted Jessica Graf and crowned Alex Ow the season's seventh Head of Household during Thursday night's live Season 19 broadcast on CBS.

Jessica, a 26-year-old VIP concierge from Cranston, RI who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA,  was evicted from the Big Brother house via a 7-1 vote over fellow eviction nominees Raven Walton and Elena Davies.

Elena, a 26-year-old radio personality from Fort Worth, TX who currently resides in Dallas, TX, received zero votes. Raven, a 23-year-old ballet teacher and ghost investigator from DeValls Bluff, AR, received the sole dissenting vote from Cody Nickson, Jessica's Big Brother showmance partner.

Elena and Raven had been nominated from eviction by Josh Martinez, who had won the week's Head of Household competition.

Jessica was automatically nominated from eviction when she deliberately finished last in the week's Temptation Challenge, which Cody won, given him immunity from eviction nomination.

Jessica had deliberately thrown the Temptation Challenge because she believed she and Cody were both certain to be nominated for eviction given their "house outcasts" status and poor relationship with Josh and most of the Big Brother house's other houseguests.

The move had ensured Jessica would get a chance to remove herself from the chopping block by competing in the week's Power of Veto competition rather than be "back-doored" and nominated as a replacement nominee if someone else won and opted to use the PoV.

Josh had originally nominated Mark Jansen for eviction alongside Elena, Mark's showmance partner. However Mark won the subsequent Power of Veto and used it to remove himself from the eviction block, resulting in Josh nominating Raven as a replacement eviction nominee.

Despite Jessica and Cody's beliefs, Josh had actually been secretly targeting Elena for eviction this week, believing she was a dangerous threat.

However, it initially seemed unclear if Josh would be able to convince enough houseguests to vote for Elena, and Josh also later clashed further with Jessica and Cody -- causing him to abandon his secret plan and just let the houseguests vote off Jessica instead.

After her eviction, Big Brother host Julie Chen surprised Jessica with the news that she had not actually been Josh's eviction target, and asked for her reaction.

"Again, I'd been lied to so many times in this house that it was hard to believe anything that anybody said," she replied.

"He didn't give me any reason to believe I wasn't the target, so I guess that was my fault."

Following Jessica's interview with Julie, the remaining Big Brother houseguests -- minus Josh, who as the outgoing HoH, was ineligible to compete -- competed in the season's seventh Head of Household competition.

A true/false memory challenge, the competition came down to Raven and Alex, with Alex emerging victorious.

Big Brother 19's next episode will air Sunday, August 14 at 8PM ET/PT on CBS.
