'Big Brother' evicts Shelly Moore and determines final five houseguests

Big Brother evicted Shelly Moore during Thursday night's broadcast of the thirteenth season's eighth live eviction show.

Shelly, a 41-year-old outdoors industry executive who currently resides in Prairieville, LA, was evicted from the Big Brother house via a 2-1 vote on Day 62 after she was placed on the chopping block by Porsche Briggs, who had been the season's ninth Head of Household.

Porsche, a 23-year-old VIP Cocktail Waitress who currently resides in Miami Beach, FL, had originally planned to nominate former twelfth-season houseguest Rachel Reilly and eleventh-season Big Brother winner Jordan Lloyd for eviction.

However, before announcing her nominations, Porsche received a "Pandora's Box" opportunity which promised her $5,000 in exchange for unleashing an unspecified twist on the Big Brother house and she chose to accept the money -- resulting in a one-week return of the season's initial "duos" twist and competition's six remaining houseguests being re-paired into new duos.

Rachel and Jordan then decided to pair together, as did Porsche and ally Kalia Booker, and Shelly and Adam Poch.  Per the "duos" twist, Porsche then had to nominate one of the pairs of houseguests for eviction and still nominated Rachel and Jordan.

However, Rachel won the subsequent Power of Veto competition -- which, due to the "duos" format, allowed her to remove both Jordan and herself from the chopping block and forced Porsche to nominate Shelly and Adam in their place.

Following Shelly's eviction, the remaining houseguests -- minus Porsche, who as the outgoing HoH, was ineligible to compete -- competed in the season's tenth Head of Household competition.

Dubbed "Rolling in the Dough," the competition required each houseguest to navigate a bakery-themed obstacle course and retrieve as many "doughnuts" as possible in 13 minutes, with the houseguest who retrieved the most doughnuts becoming the season's next HoH

While the results of the challenge are already known to the show's 24/7 live Internet feed viewers, CBS will reveal the winner during Sunday night's Big Brother broadcast. (If you don't want to wait until then to find out what happened, highlight the area below.)

Rachel won the challenge and became the next HoH.

Big Brother's next thirteenth-season episode will air Sunday, September 4 at 8PM ET/PT.
