Big Brother evicted Keith Henderson and determined its second Head of Household during Thursday night's broadcast of the thirteenth season's first live eviction show.

Keith, a 32-year-old human resources manager from Bolingbrook, IL, was evicted from the Big Brother house via a 6-4 vote after being placed on the chopping block by returning twelfth-season houseguest Rachel Reilly, the season's first Head of Household.

Rachel, a 27-year-old chemistry graduate student and VIP cocktail waitress from Las Vegas, NV, had nominated Keith and Porsche Briggs -- who Keith been partnered with as part of the season's initial "duos" gameplay twist -- for eviction during the week's initial nominations.  She later opted not to change her choices after she and Brendon Villegas, her former twelfth-season "showmance" partner turned real-life fiance, won the subsequent Power of Veto competition.

As the surviving member of her duo, Porsche, a 23-year-old VIP Cocktail Waitress from Fort Lauderdale, FL who currently resides in Miami Beach, FL, automatically won a Big Brother Golden Key that will protect her from nomination and eviction until only 10 houseguests remain in the competition.

Keith had been confident he would remain in the competition since the competition's six additional first-time houseguests had learned Porsche had betrayed them and agreed to ally with Rachel, Brendon, and the season's other returning houseguests.

In addition, Keith and fellow "newbie" houseguests Dominic Briones, Cassi Colvin and Lawon Exum had also had formed a four-person "The Regulators" alliance that was designed to ensure they would be the surviving member of their duo if any of their four duos were ever nominated for eviction.

However, Shelly Moore, a 41-year-old outdoors industry executive who currently resides in Prairieville, LA, and Kalia Booker, a 30-year-old writer who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, opted to join with the returning houseguests and vote for Keith's ouster after determining he was too unstable to keep around -- resulting in Keith's eviction.

Following Keith's eviction, the remaining houseguests -- minus Rachel, who as the outgoing HoH, was ineligible to compete, as well as Porsche and Danielle Donato, who were ineligible due to their possession of Big Brother Golden Keys -- competed in the season's second HoH competition.

Dubbed "Big Brother Open," the miniature golf-like competition required each of the nine participating houseguests to use an oversized gold club to putt an oversized golf ball as close as possible to a golf tee.

Eleventh-season Big Brother winner Jordan Lloyd won the competition and became the season's second HoH.

"Yeah! Yeah!" shouted Jeff Schroeder, whom Jordan began dating after they competed on Big Brother's 2009 season together.

"Congratulations Jordan, you are the new Head of Household.  And that means you and your [duos] partner Jeff are safe for the week!" Big Brother host Julie Chen said.
