ABC has announced Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise will premiere Tuesday, August 7 at 8PM ET/PT.

Hosted by Chris Harrison, the show will air on Monday and Tuesday nights from 8-10PM ET/PT following the premiere.

As in seasons past, notable bachelors and bachelorettes from The Bachelor franchise will gather in Mexico for a second chance at finding love -- and maybe a future husband or wife. Per usual, couples will go on dates, partners may get stolen by newcomers, and romance will blossom at the resort.

"This season will be sure to feature shocking twists, surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in Bachelor history. Which romantic hopefuls will follow in the footsteps of [Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert] or [Carly Waddell and Evan Bass]?" ABC teases.

Jade and Tanner got engaged at the conclusion of Bachelor in Paradise 2, while Carly and Evan got engaged during the Season 3 finale of Paradise in 2016. Both couples are now happily married with children.

Last summer, Bachelor in Paradise's fourth season ended with one engagement -- Taylor Nolan and Derek Peth, who are still together to this day. The season also ended with two relationships: Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk as well as Lacey Mark and Daniel Maguire.

Lacey and Daniel split shortly after filming wrapped, but Raven and Adam are still dating. An engagement might even be on the horizon for Raven and Adam.

Although the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise hasn't even premiered yet, there is already one known engagement!

As previously reported, Jared Haibon proposed marriage to his best friend of three years, Ashley Iaconetti, in Mexico while they were filming an appearance for the upcoming Summer 2018 edition.

"Newly-engaged Ashley and Jared have proven that anything is possible when it comes to true love," ABC says.

While the original cast for Bachelor in Paradise's new season has yet to be officially announced by ABC, Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone has released the identities of many bachelors and bachelorettes who may appear on the season. Click here to read the Paradise spoilers.
