The cast had to vote, individually, for the two women who would not be handing out roses that night.
It quickly became apparent that since Alexe Godin and Andrew Spencer had won the relationship challenge and were safe, the three couples who were in jeopardy of going home were Kat and Dale Moss, Jeremy Simon and Bailey Taylor Brown, and Kathy Swarts and Keith Gordon.
No one wanted to vote for Jess and Spencer since they were in love and were actively making plans to potentially live with each other after the show.
Kat, for her part, cried about how winning the money would make her feel secure, knowing that her kids would be well taken care of.
Since Kat's mother had worked multiple jobs and Kat grew up with very little, she never wanted to see her own family to struggle. Kat even revealed that at one point during her childhood, she lived in a group home.
Prior to the vote, Jeremy learned that Dale was going to vote for him, and so Jeremy said he felt "betrayed" because Dale had promised never to go after him.
At the ninth -- and final -- Rose Ceremony of the season, Alexe announced how she was in love with Andrew, and Jess told Spencer that he continued to amaze her and their future was going to be bright.
"Jess is the person I see as my wife. She is the woman I've been looking for," Spencer gushed in a confessional.
The final rose went to Kat, who gave her rose to Dale. Kat commended Dale for being her "constant" and making her feel at home.
"Kat has the biggest heart... I am excited to continue moving things forward and really building a life together," Dale told the cameras.

Jeremy choked back tears on his way out, saying he almost didn't go to Paradise but he ended up having an unforgettable journey with an "incredible" woman like Bailey. Jeremy added how he couldn't wait to see what life was going to be like after Paradise with Bailey.
Bailey cried as she hugged her co-stars goodbye, and she mentioned how she was very sad to leave everyone.
"This has been a really emotional journey for me. I feel like I've gone through a lot of self-growth, so it's hard, but I'm also happy because I'm leaving with Jeremy," Bailey shared.
Kathy and Keith shared how they were leaving Paradise with a full heart given they had made so many friendship connections in Costa Rica.

On Day 20 of Paradise, host Jesse Palmer announced how it was time for the remaining cast members' final relationship test dubbed "Weight of the World."
Each person was harnessed to a slanted platform beside their partner and had to hold onto handles that were tethered to weights. The weights were specific to each couple's combined body weight, starting with 15 percent of it.

"My leg is as big as [Jess]!" Spencer joked.
Jesse revealed that more weight was going to be added periodically, and if someone got tired, his or her partner could choose to carry more of the weight. But if the bags of weight got too heavy or fell too close to the ground, a couple would fall into the pool and be out of the challenge.
The winning couple would move directly into the final round, where they'd have the opportunity to walk away with up to $500,000. As for the other couples, their fate would be determined later that night.
Dale and Kat were out first, and then they were followed by Spencer and Jess. Andrew and Alexe therefore won the challenge.
Later that day, Spencer professed his love to Jess.
"The truth is, Jessica, that I am so in love with you and I've already won so much. I'm just so grateful to have you in my life," Spencer told Jess.
"I love you!" Jess replied, before calling her man "perfect" in a confessional.
Spencer proceeded to look at engagement rings because Jess checked all the boxes he had for a future wife. Spencer said Jess made him feel safe and he knew after Day 1 that their connection was something extremely special.
"I feel like she's the person I want to talk to when I wake up," gushed Spencer, who had a broken engagement in his past.
"I'm either going to leave here and it's going to be the best thing ever, or I'm going to be shattered. I feel confident , but I don't want to get hurt really bad again."
That night, some "unexpected guests" determined the fate of Jess, Spencer, Kat and Dale.
Those guests included Sean, Jeremy, Bailey, Brian Autz, Parisa Shifteh, and Allyshia Gupta.

Jesse told Alexe that, as the winner of the challenge, she was going to face an opportunity to win $500k.
"But tonight, the jury is going to vote on if one of our two remaining couples -- Dale and Kat and Jess and Spencer -- also get a chance at the money," Jesse explained.
"If your jury votes in another couple, that means Andrew and Alexe and the other couple will each have the chance to leave Paradise with $250,000. It goes without saying this is a pretty big decision."
Dale said he wasn't going to beg anybody for anything but he'd talk about his feelings for Kat during the cocktail party.
Bailey revealed to Jess that she and Jeremy had "made it official" and so they were dating now. Jess, in turn, told Bailey that Spencer had professed his love to her.
Spencer told Lea Cayanan that he had looked at rings and he knew that Jess was The One.
Jess said she wanted to "get there" with Spencer but there was a part of her not trusting what she was feeling.
Sean, dubbed the "Prime Minister of the Parliament of Paradise," then called the cast over for a group chat.
Sean, with Allyshia by his side, announced how he wanted his fellow jurors to have all the information possible in order to make a decision on who deserved a shot at the money.
"I was able to make some phone calls and get the real story, and it has to do with Kat," Sean began.
"Kat, you denied that we were even friends. And fortunately, I'm mutual friends with your ex, so I gave him a call. He told me some things that were really enlightening that I think the jury needs to know."

"When we came to Bachelor in Paradise, Kat's plan was never to find love. She actually stashed a laptop and started texting him love letters. You said that this was going to be something for your career and you're here to stir up drama... and I have the receipts."

Alexe, Jeremy and Andrew were shown staring at the ground in shock, with Alexe mouthing, "Wow."
Dale whispered to Kat that she shouldn't say anything in response.
"I don't give a f-ck what happened on the last Bachelor in Paradise," Dale began.
"This actually happened when we got to Costa Rica," Sean clarified.
"Well, I'm standing by her right now," Dale continued.
Dale was shocked Sean was trying to tear down Kat's character in front of her peers. He called it "a terribly run smear campaign."
Kat congratulated Sean on milking his five minutes of fame, but Allyshia repeated how if they didn't have receipts, they wouldn't have said anything.
Allyshia called Kat "fake and insincere," but Jess thought Sean was "way out of line."
Dale criticized Sean for having a huge ego while Kat cried to her friends and vented about wanting to go home.

Kat insisted to Dale afterwards that Sean had "twisted everything." Kat called the situation "insane" and said she was done having her business out there.
Dale wondered if he had missed something. He was confused and questioned if what he and Kat had built was even real.
Kat explained to Dale, "I was still dating around. Did my ex and I still have a relationship prior to this? Yes, because I didn't think I was going to meet anybody here... Was I texting him while I was here? No! I don't have my phone."
Dale asked Kat where the allegations were coming from, but Kat refused to talk and defend herself on-camera. She cried behind closed doors about how she felt attacked and just wanted to go home.
"If you're going to take shots at me, don't miss, because I may come back to haunt you," Sean boasted to the cameras.
Faith Martin thought everyone deserved a little grace.
After speaking with Kat privately, Dale announced to the cast how something real had developed with Kat and so they were going to stick it out together. Dale revealed how Kat is "a good f-cking human being" who wrote him love letters every day expressing how she felt about him.
Dale read one of Kat's notes to him, and she explained how she had entered Paradise jaded, doubtful and expecting to leave alone -- until she connected with him.
Kat wrote about how Dale fully saw her true self and made her feel protected. Kat added how, even if they left Paradise early, they'd go home with full hearts.
That night, Jesse announced how the jury could vote for Kat and Dale, Jess and Spencer, or neither couple to join Andrew and Alexe in the Final 2.
Kathy voted for Jess and Spencer to have a shot at the money, but Jeremy voted for Alexe and Andrew to have all the money.

Sean said there was "only one true, genuine couple" in Paradise when he cast his vote.
Kat told the cameras that night how everybody has someone in their past who doesn't know where it starts and how it finishes. She cried to Dale about how Sean wasn't a good person and he had treated her unfairly.
Kat said she'd never do something like that to her worst enemy.
On the final day of Paradise, Jess said she wasn't sure if she was ready to get engaged.
And Kat apologized to Dale for not being more upfront with him, but she explained how she didn't want to lose him or make him question her motive and sincerity through the process.
"You don't have to apologize. I love and care for you," Dale assured Kat.
Dale said his journey in Paradise broke some of his bad habits with communication and he found "an amazing woman" in Kat. He planned to continue dating her and staying by her side. He gushed about how she's funny, strong, beautiful and vulnerable.
Jesse then gathered the remaining couples and announced how Jess and Spencer would be joining Andrew and Spencer in the final round.
With that being said, Kat and Dale were eliminated.
Kat told Jess and Spencer that they wouldn't have wanted it any other way and she certainly wasn't leaving empty-handed.
Kat and Dale agreed that taking a chance on each other had paid off.

Jesse proceeded to separate the two remaining couples.
Jesse then met with one person at a time, presenting the bachelor or bachelorette with a bag filled with $250,000.
But the money wasn't a prize; it was the couples' final test.
"Is it Money, or is it love?" Jesse asked.
Jesse said if both people in a couple chose love, they'd reunite and leave Paradise in a strong relationship.
"But in choosing love, you'll be walking away from potentially guaranteeing yourself the $250k," Jesse said.
If one person chose the money, all of the cash would go to that person. If both people in a couple chose money, however, they'd leave Paradise with absolutely nothing.
Alexe, Andrew, Spencer and Jess knew this was a life-changing amount of money. Alexe said she had student loans to pay off, and Andrew wanted to help out some family members.
Andrew chose love and so he'd either reunite with Alexe on the balcony of a VIP suite or watch her take the bag of money below him in the sand.
Andrew reunited with Alexe, who also chose love, and the pair seemed ecstatic.
Andrew was a little surprised Alexe didn't take the money, but Alexe said leaving with Andrew was her dream come true and she was so excited about what was to come.

"All I have to say is when the hell am I moving to Chicago?!" Alexe asked Andrew.
"But first, will you be my girlfriend?" Andrew asked.
Alexe and Andrew became an official couple in that moment.
Because Alexe and Andrew had passed the final test by both choosing love, Jesse presented them with three envelopes on a tray. Inside each envelope contained an amount of money up to $250k.
Alexe and Andrew got to choose one envelope, and inside was a cash prize of $25,000 to take home. Andrew and Alexe giggled about how they were going to get to leave with a little bit of money and a very happy ending.
Jess and Spencer were up next, and Jess admitted she was having doubts because Spencer had been engaged before and things didn't work out.
"If Jess chose money over us, then everything I know is a lie," Spencer told the cameras.
"I don't think I'd ever recover from it. I don't know if I'd ever be able to trust someone again in my whole life."
But both Spencer and Jess chose love, and each other.
Jess reunited with Spencer on the balcony, and she was wearing a white sundress.
Spencer appeared thrilled and the couple shared a kiss.

Spencer called Jess the calm to his storm, and Jess said nothing could ever be better than this.
But then it did get better -- because Spencer proposed marriage to Jess!
"There are so many things I love so much about you. Every room that you walk into is instantly brighter. You don't know a stranger," Spencer told Jess.
"You're welcoming to everyone and you always lead with honesty and what's right, even when it's something that's not easy to do... I am so in love with you, and you let me know the same. From Day 1, I knew it was you."
Spencer asked Jess to make him the happiest man on Earth and marry him.
Jess giggled and replied, "Yes! I love you so much! I am so in love with you!"
Spencer dubbed this the best day of his life, and Jess boasted about having bagged the best man on the planet.
At the end of the episode, onscreen graphics gave viewers an update on each serious Paradise couple.
Out of the Final 5 couples, four are romantically involved to this day. And Keith and Kathy are still friends.
"Jeremy and Bailey have met each other's families. They're making plans to call the same city home later this year. Susie who?" ABC wrote.
"Dale and Kat have been exploring the U.S. together. They plan on moving closer and building a future together. Their relationship is far from deaded."

"Alexe plans to make the move to Chicago to be with Andrew," ABC shared. "They've decided to use the money to pay off Alexe's student loan debt. They continue to 'level up.'"
And Jess and Spencer have also met each other's families, who have "accepted them with open arms," according to the network.
ABC also revealed that Jess is planning a move to Dallas in 2026. The couple is still engaged but not in a rush to get married.
