"We are very excited to have Stefano on our roster," Ken Bunt, executive vice president of Disney Music Group and Hollywood Records, said in a statement. "He's an incredibly talented vocalist and songwriter. His story is very inspiring and we are looking forward to helping him achieve his goals."

"I feel blessed to have gotten this opportunity with Hollywood Records," Langone said. "I think it is a great fit for me and I'm so excited and hungry for what's to come."

The 22-year-old Washington state native was left wheelchair-bound for months after a serious car accident in 2009, but he has since made a full recovery from his injuries. He toured last summer with the "American Idol LIVE!" show.
