The couple tied the knot at a chapel on the fringe of a redwood forest in the Santa Cruz Mountains in front of 85 guests, People said Sunday.

"We are so in love and happy that we got to share our special day with our closest family and friends," the couple told People.

"American Idol" alums Hanley Reinhart, Casey Abrams and Stefano Langone were on hand, and the couple's 2-year-old son, Hunter, was the ring-bearer for the ceremony. Queensryche singer Geoff Tate performed "Take Hold of the Flame," one of the happy couple's favorite songs.

Getting married was one of the highlights of what has been a busy year for the 22-year-old Durbin, who released his first album in November.
