American Idol eliminated M.K. Nobilette during Thursday night's live results show on Fox, determining the thirteenth season's Top 9 finalists.

M.K., a 20-year-old from San Francisco, CA, became the fourth finalist sent home from American Idol's thirteenth season after she received the fewest home viewer votes cast following Wednesday night's performance show, which featured the Top 10 finalists performing Top 10 songs on the Billboard charts from 2011 until now.

"I really didn't think this was going to happen. It's kind of insane. It's just so awesome to see people who are your fans watching you sing and loving you for doing what you do," M.K. said following her ouster.

M.K.'s elimination became official after Idol judge Harry Connick Jr. announced the show's judges were not going to prevent her departure by using "The Judges' Save," which Harry and fellow judges Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban can only use once during the finals to prevent the elimination of a finalist whom America had voted out of the competition during a weekly performance round.

The decision would have to be unanimous amongst the judges to utilize the special save, which expires at the Top 6. After discussing M.K.'s fate during her survival performance of "All Of Me" by John Legend, the judges decided against using the save.

M.K. had received mostly negative reviews from the judges following her performance of "Perfect" by P!nk on Wednesday's performance show.

"I know in the middle of the song there was a moment where you didn't come back into the right place with the band. But the whole thing we've talked about is how you regain from that, how you recover from that. You recovered from it really well," Keith began telling the artist.

"And all I ask is going forward into next week, if you get to go through, I think you got to still work on loosening up and owning the stage a little more -- like actually owning it and taking charge of the stage... You [should] be very careful not to let relaxed and coolness look like you're not quite dominating the stage and owning that space, especially since you have such a good voice."

"I have to say that when you first started, it was the most kind of feeling and emotion that I ever saw from you. You were watching yourself in the mirror in the beginning, and that part of it, I really loved... Of course now, when you got thrown, I would say I don't agree with Keith," Jennifer explained.

"I felt like it threw you off. You went to the back of the stage, you turned around away from us. Right then was when you needed to... just be like, 'Forget this! I'm going to kill this right now!'... And do it with such conviction so that we go, 'Did she make a mistake?' That's what has to happen in those moments and just keep going... Don't ever let that happen. You just have to go for it."

"I did not think that was one of your stronger performances and it really had nothing to do with the fact the lyrics got off... I didn't really feel [the message] of the song being conveyed," Harry said.

"[But] what kind of show can you put together? How many tunes that are not that different from the originals could you string together? Because this basically sounded like the P!nk version with you singing on top, and if you're not going to sing it as well as or better than P!nk, it's not going to work out."

Prior to M.K.'s elimination, Majesty Rose, a 21-year-old from Goldsboro, NC, and Dexter Roberts, a 22-year-old from Fayette, AL, were revealed to be the other two members of this week's bottom three vote-getters.

During Thursday night's broadcast, Jennifer also took the stage and performed her new hit single "I Luh Ya Papi."
