"America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon says he was transferred from a hospital in Aspen, Colo., to a medical facility in his hometown of Los Angeles.

Cannon's wife, singer Mariah Carey, announced earlier this week her TV personality husband had been hospitalized in Aspen after suffering "mild kidney failure." The couple and their infant twins were in town to ring in the new year.

No other details regarding his condition or the course of treatment he is undergoing have been reported, but USA Today said Cannon took to Twitter Wednesday night to assure his fans his prognosis is good.

"Currently being transferred to a hospital in LA. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me... I will be a'ight," Cannon said in his online posting.
