Alicia Keys will apparently be done with The Voice once the currently-airing season wraps on NBC.

The Season 12 The Voice coach dropped the news during a recent interview in TV Guide Magazine's May 1 issue in which she was joined by her fellow coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

When the coaches were asked by the magazine how long they see themselves continuing with the reality singing competition, Keys casually confessed she won't be returning for a future season.

"My job is highly contingent upon [Blake]," Levine joked. "But really, this is all I care about. Right here, right now, you know?"

"I won't ever take a break from the show; I'll either do it or I'm quitting -- or I'm going to get fired!" Shelton gushed.

"This is my last season," Keys noted to TV Guide Magazine.

Keys' disclosure seemingly shocked and blindsided her The Voice friends.

"You're not coming back?!" Shelton questioned.

"Who knows what the future holds, but I know this one is my final season," explained Keys, who also previously starred on The Voice's eleventh edition.

Levine apparently didn't like what he was hearing from Keys.

"I'll tell you what the future holds: you being on the f-cking show!" Levine joked.

"I am excited for this; it's like a finale for me. That's why I'm so passionate about my team," Keys said of her Season 12 team, which is currently comprised of Chris Blue, Stephanie Rice and Vanessa Ferguson.

"You know why she's not coming back? She sees us and she's like, 'I don't want to be like that,'" Levine suggested.

Stefani then revealed she's also not sure what the future holds, however, she has a blast filming the show -- not to mention she's able to spend time with her boyfriend, Shelton, on the set.

"I don't know anything yet," Stefani told TV Guide Magazine. "I would be open to continuing; I love it."

Shelton -- a five-time The Voice winner -- then asked Keys, "Don't you want to at least keep going a little bit longer to get better?"

"This is my season, Blake," a confident Keys stated. "This is it!"

NBC previously announced Miley Cyrus will be back as a coach for The Voice's thirteenth season in Fall 2017, however none of the other coaches have been confirmed yet. This will mark Cyrus' second stint on the show as a coach.

Stefani served as a coach on The Voice for Seasons 7, 9 and 12. Meanwhile, Levine and Shelton have been mainstay coaches on the series since its 2011 debut on NBC.
