"Thank you everyone for always being so encouraging to me and my journey. I know it seems like I'm getting nowhere but there's a battle in myself that I'm constantly fighting. I would explain more but I don't even know what to say," Nicole wrote to her followers.

"It's exhausting mentally and emotionally but it's a battle I'm determined to win. I know I don't have to share this but I want to be honest and the truth is I'm struggling, all the time."

The TLC reality star concluded, "I'm not looking for sympathy or for anyone to feel bad! I just wanted to share because I know there are others out there feeling the same way right now. You're not alone."

Nicole didn't provide any details or insight into what exactly she's struggling with.

However, Nicole has spent the last several months documenting her attempts to diet and exercise on social media.

It's possible Nicole hasn't made the amount of progress she was hoping to at this point in her weight-loss journey.

In addition, Nicole and her fiance Azan Tefou have reportedly been filming the next season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? together.

Maybe there is trouble in paradise for Nicole and Azan, or that she finds the taping schedule exhausting.

According to a RadarOnline source, Nicole and Azan began filming Season of the Happily Ever After? spinoff in early November 2018.

As fans last saw on Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, Nicole and Azan decided to delay their wedding in Morocco in June 2018 due to financial constraints.

Azan also appeared to talk Nicole into investing their wedding money into a beauty-store business instead.

"Azan is living off her... He's milking her for all he can," Nicole's stepfather Joe Fouraker told RadarOnline in August of last year.

Nafziger gave Tefou $6,000 to open the alleged beauty store in Morocco, while he only contributed $500 to the company.

Azan also refused to show Nicole's mother a photo of the store, sparking speculation it was all a scam.

"I am surprised the purchasing of the store takes precedence over the wedding," Nicole's mom said during an episode of the series.

"That looks suspicious. Maybe this whole store thing is Azan's get-rich-quick scheme."

Since Azan refused to file marriage paperwork while Nicole was in Morocco on her tourist visa, Nicole returned to Florida under the assumption she would reunite with Azan in Morocco again and they could wed within a few months.

Nicole, however, reportedly ran out of money and was unable to return to Morocco as early as she had anticipated.

Earlier in the Happily Ever After? season, the couple called off their wedding for the first time because Nicole only had copies of the official documents she needed to obtain their marriage license and visa.

Prior to starring on the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? spinoff, Nicole and Azan appeared on Season 4 and Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance.
