90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After has left viewers wondering why exactly Azan Tefou's K-1 visa was denied, but it reportedly won't be a mystery for much longer.

"At the tell-all, they actually interrogated, more or less, Azan in regards [to what was going on] and they had some very good questions," an insider revealed to In Touch.

"They found out that he actually did in fact overstay a visa in a previous country, which will automatically deny him for any K visas."
It's unclear where Azan had allegedly overstayed a previous visa, or what were the circumstances behind the overstay.
Azan is engaged to Nicole Nafziger, but her family has believed from the start he is scamming her and isn't genuinely interested in making her his wife.
At the beginning of the season, 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After featured Azan being denied a K-1 visa, but the reason why his request was rejected hasn't been fully explained.
Since his K-1 visa got denied, Azan and Nicole's goal to have Azan move to the United States for so they could get married in America fell through.
After consulting with a lawyer, Nicole then came up with an alternative plan in which she would pack up her belongings and move both herself and her young daughter May from Florida to Morocco so she could wed Azan overseas instead.

If the couple marries in Morocco as intended, Azan expects to receive a K-3 visa for legally-wed spouses, allowing him to eventually move to the United States.
A recent episode of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After featured Nicole shopping for a wedding dress for her future wedding in Morocco.

Nicole and Azan first appeared on Season 4 of the original 90 Day Fiance franchise together.
The pair's relationship has been plagued with issues on the show -- including cheating accusations as well as differing views on religion, displays of affection, and health and nutrition.
