NBC has announced that Fear Factor, originally scheduled to return to the airwaves on June 6, will now return to the network's schedule on Tuesday, June 13 at 8PM ET/PT. An encore episode of Last Comic Standing 4's open auditions, originally broadcast last night, will fill Fear Factor's June 6 time period.

NBC has announced that its fourth edition of Last Comic Standing, the Emmy-nominated reality talent competition that it is surprisingly resurrecting after having previously canceled the show's hastily-assembled Fall 2004 third edition, will premiere Tuesday, May 30 at 8PM ET/PT with a special two-hour premiere. Following its special two-hour debut, Last Comic Standing 4 will air Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT.

NBC has announced that it has ordered a fourth edition of its Emmy-nominated reality talent competition, reviving the series after a two-year layoff that followed the network's unwise Summer 2004 decision to overexpose the show by premiering a third, hastily-assembled Fall 2004 edition only weeks after its Last Comic Standing 2 summer edition had ended.

In a final, bizarre jab at one of its Emmy-nominated series, NBC revealed the winner of Last Comic Standing 3 last night, even though the network had previously canceled the show and relegated broadcast of the finale to Comedy Central this Saturday, October 16, at 8 PM.

Apparently not simply satisfied with canceling Last Comic Standing 3 with only its finale episode left air and then keeping both its producers and viewers in the dark as to when the suddenly uncanceled finale would actually air, NBC has now decided to hurl one final insult at the program that NBC Entertainment president Kevin Reilly was lauding as a "hot show" and a "success story" just months ago.
