  Former Survivor: Thailand winner Brian Heidik was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with battery and cruelty to animals after he shot a puppy with a bow and arrow.

  Apparently Survivor itself wouldn't survive if future contestants learned information that is already widely known on the Internet. At least, that seems to be CBS's view, after pressure from CBS lawyers led to the termination of a newspaper column being written by a former Survivor castaway.

Costigan Heidik, an ex-porn star in her own right, as previously discussed on the Survivor Bashers Message Boards on RTVW.

• CBS Sues ABC; Mark Burnett Goes Sitcom!

News Online reports that CBS/Viacom has gone forward with a lawsuit against ABC/Disney regarding its claim that the British show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, which ABC plans to bring to America in 2003, is a complete rip-off of the intellectual property of its hit Survivor. Viacom seeks to stop the show and to collect substantial punitive damages from Disney as well.

  TheSmokingGun.com has discovered that there's no doubt that "Survivor" contestant Clay Jordan could actually use the $1 million winner's prize. The 46-year-old Louisiana restaurateur piled up debts totaling $420,250, according to a bankruptcy case that was closed out in January, just months before Jordan shipped off to Thailand for the filming of the CBS reality show.
