• CBS announces remaining 'Big Brother 4' broadcast schedule

  As host Julie Chen mentioned last evening, with the final Head of Household competition underway and the "Big Brother 4" household down to only three houseguests, the "Big Brother 4" broadcast schedule will be changing slightly -- starting with the preemption of the Friday, September 12 show.

• Erika Landin becomes ninth houseguest to be evicted from the 'Big Brother 4' house

  After being nominated for eviction by Robert Roman, the ninth Head of Household, polka dot bikini-wearing Erika Landin was evicted from the "Big Brother 4" house by Alison Irwin, the one remaining Houseguest who was able to vote. Alison, who was originally on the nomination block, was able to save herself when she won the last Power of Veto competition. Robert’s only choice was to put his ex, Erika, on the block with Jun Song.

• CBS extends 'Big Brother' through 2006

  Add another strike against the theory that the popularity of reality television is waning. The September 5th issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine is reporting that the surprisingly strong ratings for this summer's "Big Brother 4" have caused CBS to pick up the show for another three years, taking the program's CBS run through 2006.
