  • Lisa Donahue wins 'Big Brother 3,' becomes first US woman to do so

    After being one of the final two remaining HouseGuests with Danielle Reyes, Lisa Donahue emerged triumphant last night as BIG BROTHER 3’s grand prize-winner of $500,000 based on the votes of her former housemates. As the second place winner, Danielle receives $50,000. Lisa is the first woman to win the grand prize in three seasons of BIG BROTHER. Eddie McGee from New York won in season one and Will Kirby from Miami emerged the winner in season two.

    After being nominated for eviction by Chiara Berti, the fifth Head of Household, Josh Feinberg was evicted from the BIG BROTHER 3 house based on a unanimous vote during last night’s live show. Chiara also nominated her new boyfriend, Roddy Mancuso. Lisa Donahue won the Power of Veto and chose to leave the nominations as they stood. During last night's live broadcast, Josh, the scheming waiter from Merrick, N.Y., learned his fate, said his good-byes and left the house. After leaving BIG BROTHER 3, Josh was interviewed by Julie Chen about his experience and was reunited with his girlfriend Merritt.

Eric and fellow nominee Lisa Donahue, who have become romantically involved while in the house, each had three votes going into the live show. Chiara Berti won the Power of Veto and chose to leave the nominations as they stood.

    BanishJosh.com is claiming to have gotten a reply from Josh's Los Angeles roomate regarding the Hermando Today newspaper's earlier report about Josh's of personal injury lawsuit. While the details of this issue obviously are a matter of debate -- one issue certainly doesn't seem to be, namely that once again CBS is making liberal use of the contestants reputed "place of residence." Previously living in Florida... currently living in Los Angeles and working at Dodger Stadium -- clearly Josh isn't recently residing anywhere near Long Island, New York.

    The Florida newspaper 'Hernando Today' has reported that Big Brother 3 contestant Josh Feinberg was immediately recognized by former Hernando County jurors when he began appearing on the CBS reality show because of a suit he had against a local Winn Dixie supermarket when he resided in the area.
