Rosearik Rikki Simons Biography

Rosearik Rikki Allen Simons (born September 8, 1970) is an American voice actor, writer, graphic novelist, and artist, best known as the voice of GIR in the Nickelodeon animated series, Invader Zim. Simons also co-created and wrote the Robotech: Clone comic series.

Biography

In addition to his graphic novel and novel work, Simons also paints backgrounds for animation, including Jackie Chan Adventures and Invader Zim. He painted both issues of Jhonen Vasquez's comic I Feel Sick. Simons works with his wife, illustrator Tavisha Wolfgarth. The two currently produce a biweekly webcomic "@Tavicat". In 2007, he was a frequent guest panelist on the video game and geek culture podcast The Weekly Geek.
