Career

2010-2014:

After a chance meeting with New York music producer Nick Price, Lexz began writing songs and recording at the former site of the legendary Unique Recording Studios. Lexz released her first commercial single, Creepin, in January 2012 to a warm online reception from blogs and received a quarter-million views on You Tube. Later in 2012, Lexz received an offer to tour as a dancer with Ultra Music Festival. Lexz wisely accepted, knowing it could be an opportunity to perform her own songs for Electronic Dance Music fans globally. Lexz's hard work and dedication paid off in 2013, when she was invited to perform on the Live Stage at Ultra Miami. Lexz made the best of her debut Ultra set, where she opened for Snoop Dogg, Major Lazer & The Weeknd with her 40-minute performance.

For the next 18 months, Lexz continued to tour with Ultra both as a dancer and artist, while also launching her own Anti-Bullying Tour and continuing to record new music towards her debut album.

2015-present

Finally, on September 2, 2015 Lexz released the music video for Motivate featuring Snoop Dogg, the first single off her forthcoming debut album Cyberspace. The video debuted on Vevo's homepage, where the video has been viewed over 600,000 times to date, and the MTV Jams network.

On September 9, 2015 Lexz Pryde helped kick off New York Fashion Week at the exclusive No. 8 nightclub in NYC's Meatpacking District. Guests in attendance included Andy Hilfiger, Uncle Murda, Rohan Marley, Al B. Sure, and Felipe Lopez.

Motivate has earned support from radio stations across the nation, including WWPR in New York, WPWX in Chicago, and WPGC in Washington D.C.

On November 14, 2015, Lexz sang Motivate for Reverend Al Sharpton and his National Action Network as part of their live broadcast on WLIB.

Lexz opened for Snoop Dogg during his December 2015 Holiday Tour and February 2016 Superbowl Week Tour. [citation needed]
