Alexandra McDougall Biography

Alexandra Catherine McDougall (born August 23, 1981) is an American actress best known for voicing "Walking Cinema: Murder on Beacon Hill," the first iPhone application to be accepted to a major film festival, as well as her role in the New England Emmy Award nominated documentary On The Lake: Life and Love in a Distant Place.

Working for HarperCollins and Scholastic, she has narrated children's book titles like The 13 Nights of Halloween and some of the Breyer Stablemates series, while under the direction of Wren Ross and Peter Berkrot.

She simultaneously completed bachelor's degrees in theater and history from Salem State University in 2004. She has also been known to volunteer on short notice, as she did with the Boston Crisis camp in the wake of the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

By 2011, she had moved from the Boston area to Los Angeles and started training with and blogging for John Sudol.
