When she was still fighting for a chance to be Donald Trump's newest employee during Thursday's live The Apprentice 3 finale, finalist Tana Goertz claimed to have learned a lesson from her unprofessional badmouthing of the eliminated contestants who had helped her execute her final task. However, based on the 37-year-old Iowa resident's behavior in the 24-hour period that followed her Trump firing, it would appear as though whatever lesson Tana learned, it had little to do with recognizing the inappropriateness of such behavior.

In the fourteenth episode of NBC's boxing reality-competition show The Contender, heavily-favored Sergio 'The Latin Snake' Mora (now 15-0, 4 KOs) pounded his way to the show's $1 million final match by decisively thrashing Jesse Brinkley (now 25-2, 17 KOs) in the last semifinal match, winning by unanimous decision. With his win, Sergio will face Peter Manfredo Jr. (24-1, 10 KOs) in the seven-round bout, to be held at the famed Caesar's Palace venue in Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 24, with the live broadcast beginning at 8PM ET.

NBC unveiled its 2005-2006 Fall primetime schedule yesterday, announcing that it will broadcast not one but two The Apprentice editions this fall, with its previously announced The Apprentice: Martha Stewart series joining the fourth edition of the Donald Trump-led original Apprentice series as part of the network's Fall 2005 primetime lineup.

NBC announced Monday that as part of what it emphasized was a plan to launch new programming throughout the September-May season, Fear Factor will not be part of the network's initial 2005-2006 Fall primetime schedule. Instead, Fear Factor will be return to the network's schedule at some point later in the season.
