The Smoking Gun reports that before appearing on FOX's "Joe Millionaire," Evan Marriott earned spare change modeling skimpy briefs for a California firm specializing in revealing swimwear, thongs, and leatherette underwear. arriott, whom Fox describes as a $19,000-a-year construction worker and is trying to position as a shy, somewhat quiet individual, posed in November 2001 for California Muscle, a Los Angeles-based firm that sells its racy garments via a bi-annual catalog and web site.Joe Millionaire... or Joe Cheapskate? FOX has released profiles and photos for the 20 single women who will compete for the affections of their faux-millionaire in their upcoming "Joe Millionaire" reality TV series.
Among the beautiful, smart and sophisticated women gathered are a doctor, banker and business development executive, three Melissa's, and ten women for the Los Angeles area (so much for those open casting calls in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York, Houston, Minneapolis, and Seatlle.)

They are conducting a nationwide search for attractive, intelligent, out-going men and women who are ready for a "serious relationship" (whatever that means -- remember, these *ARE* the producers of Tempation Island that we're talking about.)
