NBC schedules additional 'Fear Factor' episodes for November sweeps

E! Online reports that NBC has renewed its reality hit Fear Factor for three more years. The contract between show producer Endemol (which also produces CBS's Big Brother) and NBC was set to expire at the end of the upcoming season, but it will now extend until May 2007. NBC has announced that production has begun in Los Angeles on the fourth season of NBC’s top-rated reality series Fear Factor” and it will feature many special editions of the program. NBC Enterprises and Endemol USA have announced that they are teaming up with ARUSH Entertainment and Playinteractive, LLP to create, market and distribute interactive video games based on the hit NBC series Fear Factor™. Tentatively titled Fear Factor: Unleashed, the games are targeted to be in stores in 2004.
