  • 'Survivor' juror Colleen Haskell moves into reality-show production

    The Washington Post reports that Survivor: Pulau Tiga contestant Colleen Haskell is pursuing a new career as an entry-level associate producer of ... a reality-TV show. Colleen, who attempted an acting career but gave up after her role as Rob Schneider's love interest in The Animal, has signed on with former Survivor: Pulau Tiga line producer Kevin Greene, who is now the executive producer of E!'s upcoming The Michael Essany Show (Michael Essany is little more than a real-life Wayne from Wayne's World, hosting his own cable-access talk show from his parents' home -- except in Indiana, not neighboring Illinois; the show is an Osbournes-style look at his life and TV show.)
  • 'Survivor 8' considers filming All Star Survivor edition in Palau

    CBS and Survivor executive producer Mark Burnett appear to be trying for a grand slam with Survivor 8. As previously discussed, this will be the long-rumored All-Star Survivor edition, with the confirmed participation of the first three Survivor winners -- RIchard Hatch, Tina Wesson and Ethan Zohn -- plus Susan Hawk and Rudy Boesch from Richard's "Tagi Alliance" in Pulau Tiga and the beautiful but treacherous Jerri Manthey from The Australian Outback.

Richard Hatch, the flamboyant $1 million winner of CBS's first Survivor series, was arrested Tuesday for a domestic dispute allegedly involving an ex-boyfriend. Middletown, R.I., police spokesman Lt. Barry Smith says a warrant was issued for Hatch's arrest after the victim filed a complaint Monday.
