'American Idol's final 12 semifinalists take to the stage, perform live

The third and final group of 12 semifinalists from American Idol's Top 36 took to the stage and performed during last night's live broadcast of the Fox reality competition's eighth season.

Once again singing hits from the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the final group consisted of Von Smith, Taylor Vaifanua, Alexander Wagner-Trugman, Arianna Afsar, Ju'Not Joyner, Kristen McNamara, Nathaniel Marshall, Felicia Barton, Scott MacIntyre, Kendall Beard, Jorge Nunez and Lil Rounds.
'American Idol' determines three more Top 12 eighth-season finalists

American Idol determined its next three eighth-season finalists last night, with Thursday night's live results show revealing that Kris Allen, Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert had advanced to the Top 12 finals after receiving the most home viewer votes for their performances during Wednesday night's broadcast of the season's second semifinals group.
Ex-'Idol' Mikalah Gordon: Adam Lambert should be disqualified too

Former American Idol fourth-season finalist Mikalah Gordon feels that if Joanna Pacitti was disqualified from the show's eighth-season then current semifinalist Adam Lambert also should have been ruled ineligible to compete -- however she's apparently unfamiliar with the reason why Pacitti was given the boot.
