At the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards, Al Pacino won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie, along with the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award in 2011 for his role as Kevorkian. The film was also nominated for Outstanding Made for Television Movie at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.
