Traffik is an upcoming American thriller film directed and written by Deon Taylor. The film stars Paula Patton, Omar Epps, Laz Alonso, Roselyn Sanchez, Luke Goss, William Fichtner and Missi Pyle, and follows a group of friends who are terrorized by a gang of bikers in a remote countryside home. It is scheduled for a release on April 20, 2018 by Summit Entertainment.


Journalist Brea, and her boyfriend John, travel from the coast to the mountains for a romantic weekend. At a gas station along the way, they are accosted by a group of men on motorcycles. They continue on to their secluded rental home, unaware that they have come into possession of a mobile phone. The phone is important to a group of sex traffickers"? which the bikers are desperate to retrieve.



Lionsgate acquired the rights to the film for $5 million in September 2017. Traffik is scheduled to be released on April 20, 2018, by Summit Entertainment. It was originally slated for April 27, 2018, but was moved up a week avoid being released opposite Avengers: Infinity War.

Box office

In the United States and Canada, Traffik will be released alongside I Feel Pretty and Super Troopers 2, and is projected to gross $3-4 million from 1,000 theaters in its opening weekend.
