Mikaela Phillips Biography

Mikaela Phillips (born January 1996) is an Australian actress, model and singer from Melbourne, Victoria.

Early life

Phillips was born in Melbourne, Australia. She is an only child and daughter of worldwide acclaimed and best-selling author Chrys Phillips. Growing up in Australia, Phillips lived close to the beach and spent most, if not all, of her childhood summers at some of Melbourne's best beaches. Phillips attended primary school at Firbank Girls' Grammar School -a private school- from grades prep to year four until transferring to another school later on. Throughout Phillip's years in both primary and high school Phillips has been involved in many school productions including, The Pied Piper of Hamelin, Holes in the Soles, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady to name a few.

Her mother has always encouraged her to not only pursue her dreams in life but has supported her dream to have a career in acting. Phillips was involved with theater and production companies outside of school and acted in various stage and musical productions, where she was either the lead or a supporting role.

After years of acting, since since starting at the age of six, Phillips new acting was something she wanted to pursue as a career and since then has gone on to do.

Career

Phillips has already had a successful start to a promising career and is working on various and upcoming projects. She is soon becoming one of the top young actresses to look out for and keep an eye on as she grows as an actress and in her career.

In 2012, Phillips was cast as one of the main, female characters for the filming of the official Magic Wars Book Series book trailer. The book trailer went viral, with worldwide fans tuning in to see the new release book trailer. Phillips has also been the model for various official artwork and pictures for the character Miki in the worldwide acclaimed and best-selling book series, Magic Wars.

In February 2013, Phillips was on the set of ABC's primetime and high-rating Revenge, that stars well known actors Emily Van Camp and Madeline Stowe, to name a few. She was the Revenge episode 17 in Season two.

Phillips is also in the creative process of writing her own fictional book series, following the footsteps of her award-nominated and best-selling author mother Chrys. She hopes to have the first book in the series written and published in 2013.
