Marco Polo is a television drama series in production about Marco Polo's early years in the court of Kublai Khan, scheduled to premiere on the network Starz. The series is being written by John Fusco.

Production is scheduled to begin in 2013. On August 8th, 2013. It was reported Starz dropped the series, after they struggled to film in China. The series will either be pickup for a 9 episodes order by Netflix or a feature film by The Weinstein Company.
